Sharp and Howse can provide the regular servicing and maintenance you need, spotting and rectifying problems before they become an issue. A regular maintenance contract can ensure your boiler warranty obligations are met and that your system delivers trouble-free operation.

We have a number of servicing options available which can be seen below.

Commercial

Our Gas Safe and OFTEC registered engineers offer a full range of services for our commercial clients who might include retirement villages, letting agents and other organisations with responsibility for multiple domestic heating systems through to industrial installations. We cover planned and preventative maintenance, installation and servicing to all makes and age of boilers and plant.

24/7 Callout

We are at the end of the phone 24/7 for our domestic and commercial contract maintenance customers when things go wrong. If this happens to be in the middle of the night or over a holiday period we will ensure your system is safe and do whatever we can until able to secure any parts needed to fix the problem.

Maintenance

Our engineers will thoroughly check gas, oil or LPG boilers or appliances and provide certification where applicable, whether for one-off items or as part of a more comprehensive service or planned maintenance contract.

One-off 
Boiler Servicing

We are happy to perform a one-off boiler service for new customers. Once you have tried us you have the option of taking up a cost-effective regular service contract to help ensure the safety and smooth running of your system.

Condition 
Surveys

If you are buying a new home our Gas Safe registered engineer can carry out a Condition Survey. The boiler, radiators and pipework will be inspected and a report prepared for you on the age and condition of the system. Suggestions will be made and a quotation included for any remedial or upgrade work our engineer recommends.

Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificate

A landlord is responsible for ensuring that all gas appliances, pipe-work and flues serving the property are maintained in a safe condition and to obtain a Gas Safety Certificate annually. Our Gas Safe engineers provide this service for private landlords and property management companies. Should appliances fall short of requirements we can arrange to carry out any necessary remedial work.
